Data Importation

Importing new records into a collection is a simple process by using the Virtual Research Environment's data importation facility.

By answering a simple set of questions about the nature of your data, the Virtual Research Environment will generate a template in a Comma-Separated Values (CSV) file. A researcher simply adapts their data into the template by using any spreadsheet software. Once the template is filled, the user can simple upload the template to the Virtual Research Environment and the server automatically imports the records in to the collection.
